A Day In The Life

A day in the life of a franchisee goes something like this:

Most days will start with checking your email or messages to get a quick status of what’s coming up for the day. There may be advertisers ready to place their ads, questions from the corporate office, or it may be time to begin invoicing. You will always want to see where you are with deadlines for both advertising copy and editorial from your neighborhood contacts.
You will work with all kinds of small businesses and helping them determine which areas are best for their business. This will be based on many factors such as their budget, their clientele and where they are located.

Your small business customers may need help with designing their ad. You will work with them on gathering the copy and graphics necessary and the instructions for the corporate office to gather images and other info needed to produce their advertisement.

You will make presentations to community leaders to offer and explain how your services work and what their responsibilities are. Presentations may be to a group of people or one individual. Your neighborhood customers will come from all walks of life.
You will want to stay in constant communication with your communities so that you can keep up to date on what is going on. Many of these items will be used for your newsletters, social media, blogs or website.
Joining the local chamber of commerce and other community oriented organizations will help you find the contacts you need to grow your business!
