helping you along the way!
Susan Schopp is the CEO of Neighbors Choice, LLC., as well as the founder of Neighborhood News, Inc. Neighborhood News was formed in 1996 and has been in constant operation since then. In February of 2020 plans were finalized and the company began offering franchise opportunities under the name Neighbors Choice®.
Susan has worked on many neighborhood boards and also served as the chair of the Neighborhood Resource Center, a non-profit formed to assist neighborhood leadership with the day-t0-day operations of their associations. She also has a background in journalism and has written for multiple publications.
John Schopp is the Vice President of Sales and has been involved with both business in and out throughout the years. John has also spent a lot of time volunteering on neighborhood boards and other community projects.
For most of his career he owned and operated Gulfstar Corporation, an oil and gas drilling and operations company based in San Antonio, Texas.
John was an integral part of the launching of Neighborhood News back in 1996 and has continued assist with business operations as the companies have grown.
Stacey Rhodes joined the staff as bookkeeper in the fall of 2020 and quickly became an invaluable team member.
She brings with her a wealth of general business knowledge as well as excellent bookkeeping, financial and HR skills.
Stacey was promoted to manager of Neighborhood News, Inc., in May of 2021 and she also works as assistant to CEO, Susan Schopp.
Faye Babbitt is the first employee ever hired and has seen the evolution of both companies since 1997.
Faye works as Distribution Manager and is very knowledgeable with various printing/production processes and has extensive knowledge and experience working with the US Postal Service.
We always appreciate her great attitude and willingness to help in any area of the business.
Ariel Due has been with Neighborhood News since 2006. She is a very talented individual and has worked in almost every department, ending up as Production Manager, a role she has served in for 6 years.
Ariel is the first person many neighborhoods talk to and she guides them along the way to getting set up and on their way.
She has extensive knowledge in graphic design, web design, electronic media and a multitude of other areas regarding production from inception to delivery.
Wanda Myers is our Senior Sales Associate and works closely with John on growing and developing our sales program.
She has extensive experience in advertising sales and has worked for a variety of medial outlets.
Her bubbly personality and attention to detail has been a great advantage to the company and makes her a favorite and key contact for our advertising customers.
Sharon Reynolds has been with the company for about three years. Her resume boasts extensive knowledge with the Adobe Suite of Products as well as WordPress Design.
Sharon works as a graphic designer and enjoys using her excellent photoshop skills whenever possible.
We appreciate her always taking the time to improve on our products and making sure they always reach the standard of quality we strive to provide.
Paolo Martinez has worked as a graphic designer since 2019. He is very skilled with the Adobe Suite of products as well. Customers enjoy his reliability and creativity and he always strives to ensure their happiness with our products.
We enjoy having Paolo around as he is always easy going and supportive to the staff as a whole. HIs willingness to try new things or show us things we didn’t know is a great resource and we feel lucky to have him.
Danny Due assists Faye in our Production Department. As Ariel’s husband, Danny has been along for the ride for many years.
However, this past year, when the pandemic threatened many small businesses, Danny found himself needing additional work.
It worked out well because it so happened that we needed additional help.
We are thankful to have Danny’s help and his great attitude and commitment to excellent service has made him a vital part of our staff.
